Type 2 Diabetes

Diabetes can be a devastating disease. Tragically, these days the number of adults and children with diabetes is going up on a yearly basis. A lot of people don’t realise that they are prediabetic for years which can cause damage years before its noticed.

Reversible forms of diabetes include pre-diabetes (which can progress to type-2 diabetes), in which your blood glucose levels are elevated, but not high enough to be and gestational diabetes, which occurs during pregnancy.

Left untreated, diabetes can result in many serious complications including vascular disease, kidney damage, stroke, nerve damage, blindness and an increased risk of osteoporosis. It can also cause peripheral neuropathy, the need to urinate often, being thirsty or hungry all the time.
